Yitzhak was born in the city Casablanca in Morrocco. His family immigrated to Israel when he was 9 years old, and settled in Haifa, where he finished his high-school studies. Yitzhak was very attached to his family, and tried to help his parents adjust to the new country in every way he could. Yitzhak had a wide range of interests, including sports, drawing and playing the guitar, which he bought with money he earned himself.

Yitzhak was recruited to the IDF in November of 1971. He was an excellent soldier. His friends described him as a warm, friendly person.

Yitzhak was part of the rescue force sent to Tel-Saki on October 7th, 1973. He was killed in combat, leaving behind his parents and eight sisters and brothers.
