Corp. Yaakov Jacky Levi

Yaakov was born in Tel-Aviv in the year 1953. His elemntry and high studies were held in Bat-Yam. When he was 8 years old he joined the Hebrew-Scouts movement and later on began playing the guitar. He graduated from high-school in 1970 as an over-achiver. Yaakov then joined a Nachal (Pioneer Combatant Youth) group in Kibutz-Tziraa. A few month later his father died.

Yaakov was drafted to the IDF in 1971, as a medic and parachuter. During the Yom-Kippur War in 1973, Yaakov was sent to rescue the wounded in the battle of Tel-Saki. He helped many wounded soldiers, but when he tried to save his friend Tzvika, he got shot and died. Yaakov was buried in the cementery of Kibutz-Tziraa.
