David was born in Casablanca, Morrocco, and his family immigrated to Israel when he was two years old. He studied in a religious school in the southen Israeli city of Sedrot, and also was part of the Zionist-religious youth movement Bnei Akiva. He had a great love for music and singing.
David was recruited to the IDF in July of 1972 and went to serve in the prestigious paratroopers brigade. He was an excellent soldier.
David was killed In the Golan Heights during battle on the 25th of October, 1973. He left behind his parents, as well as ten brothers and sisters.
